WHAT SETS DAYSHA APART FROM OTHER WRITING COACHES

  •  The Write-to-Earn Program—As a fellow writer, Daysha understands how challenging it can be to imagine a career as a writer—let alone a paid writer. So, to help bolster her student’s confidence, she developed the Write-to-Earn program, which allows students to earn back up to 50% of their fees over the course of working with her.

  • Varied Writing/Entertainment Background—From spoken word poetry to short video sketches to feature screenplays/full-length plays, Daysha has done it all and incorporates her varied perspective into her feedback.

  • Constructive Feedback Expert—Daysha considers herself an expert when it comes to delivering useful, constructive feedback. Not only has she given countless rounds of notes to developing and established writers, but she also spearheaded and ran a constructive feedback workshop at BuzzFeed Video for new producers for over two years. She is best known for being real, direct and nurturing.

  • Emphasis On Motivation + Confidence Development—As a fellow writer she intimately understands how nerve-wracking it can be to put your work out there. This is why she draws upon the knowledge and techniques she has acquired through running her self-confidence building blog, Yes Queen, in her coaching to help writers build confidence in themselves and their work.

  • Personalized Coaching Material—Daysha will assess your writing strengths + weaknesses, and work to develop personalized writing exercises that are tailored to you/your project’s specific needs.
