Daysha is a Featured Speaker at Medical Herstory Spoken Word Reading Event

Medical Herstory is an award-winning, youth-led, international not-for-profit organization advancing gender health equity through storytelling, patient advocacy, medical education, and undoing stigma.

On May 29th, Daysha and several other female/non-binary poets shared poems for their event, “Spoken Word to Undo Stigma”— a virtual showcase of writers reading their narrative works about their experiences with healthcare, gender bias in medical settings, or their body, health, and sexuality.

Daysha read her most popular poem, “Safe Sex” and a new untitled piece.
