Brassroots District: Live in the Lot ‘73, for which Daysha Veronica wrote the script, has been featured in LA Weekly as a Weekly Event Pick.

Brassroots District: Live in the Lot ‘73 is an immersive music experience set at the Brassroots District’s outdoor summer gig opening for Sly and the Family Stone in 1973. “You’ll have a blast playing along,” writes Lina Lecaro.

Band leaders and ex-lovers, Copper Jones (Ari Herstand) and Ursa Major (Celeste Butler) of funk band, Brassroots District, discover the steep price of fame and notoriety when smarmy polyester-clad record exec Theo (BryanPorter) comes to check out their gig and potentially sign one of them to his label.

The show runs until August 8th. Get tickets at www.brassrootsdistrict.com.
